Vacancy available: we are hiring a sample machinist in Brown County, Illinois. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. Day to day you will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
