Great opportunity: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Taylor County, Iowa. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Strong attention to safety and load limits The role involves: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
