Great opportunity: we are hiring a VMC operator in Hill County, Texas. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron You will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
