MIG/MAG welder • Hamilton County, Nebraska

Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Hamilton County, Nebraska. You will be based on a structural steel site. The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
