Now hiring: we are hiring a rigger in Ross County, Ohio. Day to day you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles 6+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $28 per hour plus benefits.
