Kitchen porter — Bowie County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Bowie County, Texas. You will work at a banquet hall. On a typical shift you will wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard. What we are looking for: • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
