Core maker • Hoke County, North Carolina

Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Hoke County, North Carolina. The role involves check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings 6+ years on the tools preferred.
