Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Iron County, Utah. The job is on a building construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Day to day you will cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab.
