Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Pickens County, Alabama. The role involves back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
