Offshore rigger — Daviess County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Daviess County, Indiana. You will be based at a power plant. On the job you will handle: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
