Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane operator in Prowers County, Colorado. You will work on a high-rise tower crane. On a typical shift you will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins. Requirements: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Full-time with occasional weekends.
