Ironing operator — Alexander County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an ironing operator in Alexander County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work 3+ years on the tools preferred.
