Foundry labourer — Colfax County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Colfax County, Nebraska. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills The role involves skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities.
