Stitching operator wanted in Montgomery County

Now hiring: we are hiring a stitching operator in Montgomery County, Ohio. Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
