Track-type tractor operator — Saint Johns County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Saint Johns County, Florida. On a typical shift you will strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily. Requirements: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
