Rigger wanted in Roanoke County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in Roanoke County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
