We are recruiting: we are hiring a laundry presser in Warren County, Tennessee. The job is in a busy laundry. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Your main tasks: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron Overtime paid at a premium rate.
