Great opportunity: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Androscoggin County, Maine. Day to day you will watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
