Gas installation technician • Schley County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Schley County, Georgia. The job is in a gas distribution network. Day-to-day duties: • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant Ideal candidate: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Able to read isometric and site drawings 4+ years on the tools preferred.
