Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Franklin County, Georgia. Day-to-day duties: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
