Ladle pourer • Cook County, Minnesota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Cook County, Minnesota. The role involves: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
