Die-casting operator • Hot Spring County, Arkansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Hot Spring County, Arkansas. The job is at a busy iron foundry. On the job you will handle: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 1+ years on the tools preferred.
