Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Jim Hogg County, Texas. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to pass a weld test on the spot The role involves weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends.
