Gas meter installer — Taylor County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Taylor County, Iowa. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations On a typical shift you will fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant.
