Dough maker — Nkanu East

Join our team: we are hiring a dough maker in Nkanu East, Enugu State. You will be based at a cake shop. Day-to-day duties: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Part-time with flexible hours.
