Immediate opening: plasterer (Kentucky)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plasterer in Scott County, Kentucky. You will be based in a refurbishment property. The role involves: • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat Ideal candidate: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents 2+ years on the tools preferred.
