Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Day to day you will backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; check for underground cables and services before digging; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension.
