Overhead (EOT) crane operator wanted in Meeker County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Meeker County, Minnesota. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Day-to-day duties: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
