Die-casting operator — Moniteau County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Moniteau County, Missouri. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Day to day you will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. 1+ years on the tools preferred. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
