Now hiring: foundry labourer (Ogun State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. You will work on the moulding line. Your main tasks: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
