Pastry baker — Hyde County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pastry baker in Hyde County, South Dakota. You will be based at a cake shop. On a typical shift you will load and unload the deck oven with a peel; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. Requirements: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off.
