Heavy equipment operator (dozer) — Hanson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Hanson County, South Dakota. You will work at an open-cast mine. The role involves refuel the machine and record running hours; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction. What we are looking for: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
