Elevator repair technician — Guernsey County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Guernsey County, Ohio. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring The role involves: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
