Laundry presser — Washington County

Day to day you will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
