Great opportunity: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Hanson County, South Dakota. The role involves skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
