The role involves: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Give each garment a final press before packing Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
