Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Washoe County, Nevada. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Your main tasks: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Load and index turning tools in the turret $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
