Now hiring: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Bartholomew County, Indiana. The job is at a busy garment factory. You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens On the job you will handle: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet Full-time, day shift. We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
