We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Grimes County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth Day-to-day duties: • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
