We are recruiting: we are hiring a head baker in Jefferson County, West Virginia. You will work at a busy bakery. What we are looking for: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving The role involves: • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch Pay around $28 per hour, based on your experience.
