Lifting rigger — Person County

Join our team: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Person County, North Carolina. You will be based at a power plant. On a typical shift you will attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
