Vertical milling machine operator — Marion County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Marion County, Kentucky. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. Day to day you will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
