Flatlock machine operator — Webster County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Webster County, Kentucky. The job is at a busy garment factory. The role involves: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Part-time with flexible hours.
