Turning centre operator — Dearborn County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Dearborn County, Indiana. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. On a typical shift you will check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; load and index turning tools in the turret. Ideal candidate: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
