Horizontal milling machine operator wanted in Webster County

Join our team: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Webster County, Kentucky. Day to day you will set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience.
