Vacuum press operator — Coos County

Join our team: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Coos County, Oregon. You will work in a garment export house. The role involves: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work 6+ years on the tools preferred.
