Heavy equipment operator — Derbyshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Derbyshire, England. The job is in an open-cast quarry. Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Day to day you will grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels.
