Butcher — Suffolk

Great opportunity: we are hiring a butcher in Suffolk, England. You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Day to day you will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer £3,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
