Mining dozer operator — Huntington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Huntington County, Indiana. The job is at an open-cast mine. Requirements: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections On a typical shift you will carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank.
