Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding Day-to-day duties: • Sand and fill walls before applying primer • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
